It was a long journey home, but i made it!! after 3 days of travel, i am home in Canada! the past few days have been hard, not just the traveling, but saying goodbye to everyone. Mo
nday was our last day of teaching, and it was awesome, because we saw that the kids had progressed through the semester! after lunch, usually the kids would just run around and be crazy, trying to burn off all of the sugar that they had just consumed, but on the last day after lunch, they all sat in a corner and spoke english freely as they put a puzzle together, it was awesome! me and karli just looked at each other and couldn't believe how ironic it was that this was all happening on the last day, it seemed like i had alot of really ironic experiences in that country! so, after we said goodbye to all the kids (wich was hard) and took down all their pictures on the wall (wich was really hard) i got to go home and say goodbye to my host family. it was so wierd saying goodbye to them, and not knowing if we would ever see each other again. they are the kindest people that i have ever met and they will always be family to me! I will miss them alot!! I learned alot in Kiev and i am so glad that i got to go!!
