The first snowfall!

so, yesterday i woke up to a white kiev! i looked out the window and freaked out!  I was so excited that i forgot that the boots i put on were not waterproof, and that was not the day to forget that, we did so much walking! so i get outside and it turns out it's not actual snow, it's like wierd freezing rain.  Needless to say i was a little chilly that day! but today came the real stuff! It is so wierd that it hasn't snowed here until now! But me and my host brother took full advantage of it and had a snowball fight today! I live Ukrainian snow, it's like a dream! It was absolutely perfect for snowballs, and every time that i would make a snowball and throw it, it just seemed to hit him! Anyone who has ever had a snowball fight with me knows that that is really spectacular!
It was awesome! all up until i got smoked in the face twice by my little brother, then we stopped because i got two big welts on my face! It is so much fun here, i can't imagine that i am going to be leaving in 3 weeks!!!!

The count down is on!!

I am still alive! i officially have less than a month left, it is crazy how fast time goes. It seriously feels like we are in a time machine. Every day when we go through what day it is we always say like 2 weeks previous and think we are right, then the kids correct us and we just look at each other! I leave on the 16th, but there is still alot to do! it feels like i just kinda got the hang of things even though it is still crazy!!

The visit to the temple

so, they are building a temple here in kiev right now, and a few weeks ago we went and saw it! It was so weird to see a temple right off the highway in kiev.

My new blog

Well, this is my new blog! Karli is opening up a whole new world of technology to me! As our time in the Ukraine grows shorter and shorter, I figured I should probably make my own blog, instead of just having Karli write about my life, so here it is! Things in the Ukraine are great! Karlis parents and kerri came last week, and it was really fun, it was kinda refreshing to have familiar faces around! We had a lot of very.....interesting, crazy experiences. I don’t think we knew where we were for more than five minutes the entire week, lets just say, we saw a lot of the country! It was great just sitting in the back seat of the mini van just watching it all. they left on Monday, it was a great week. Now we are back to school for six more weeks!!
